Our History
Next Step Residential Services Ltd. was incorporated in August 1995, and provides services to individuals in Medicine Hat, Brooks, and surrounding areas. We serve over 100 individuals with an age range from 0-96, requiring full or part time services, and employ over 100 staff of qualified leaders, who possess strong educational backgrounds and hands-on experience in rehabilitation services.

Next Step is dedicated to improving the quality of life of each individual we serve while striving to build meaningful relationships and natural supports within the community.

Next Step recognizes the fact that people with disabilities often have complex needs and is committed to providing services that address these complexities through individualized programs focused on the gifts and abilities of each person.

Our vision is to become the leader in the provision of services to persons with disabilities, while helping them to become valued members of the community, excelling in their individual strengths and living a satisfying life.
